Account-Free Browser Access
You can play Jade Ascent immediately without signing up or logging in. The demo uses your browser's local storage to save your virtual coin balance and fractional carry. There is no external account form, cashier, or payment gateway associated with this browser access. The saved wallet persists across reloads; an unfinished round does not. Removing site storage differs from clearing cached files.
Wallet Mechanics and Restoration
Your initial balance is 1,000 virtual coins. When you start a round, the whole stake is deducted immediately. If your balance drops below 5 while idle, you can manually restore your balance to 1,000 coins. A fractional carry of quarter units is preserved separately and credited upon successful settlement. Reloading the page abandons any active round without refunding the debited stake.
Handling Unfinished Rounds
The Jade Ascent demo does not save unfinished rounds. If you reload the page or navigate away, your current ascent is lost with no option to resume. Selectors reset to the default stake of 5 and target of 1.25x. You cannot collect a pending stage after a reload; the round is considered settled at zero for that session.
